Chapter: Addicted to being {UNWORTHY}
Addiction is a funny thing. Everyone around you can see it and somewhere in the back of your mind, during the sober times, you can feel it; but as hard as you try, there is nothing that can change it. What I know about myself today is that I have always had an addictive personality, even before I touched my first substance, but it took just the right set of ingredients to ignite a fire that almost took everything that matters most to me today. I was not addicted to marijuana or meth or cocaine or alcohol, although those were my tools; I was addicted to trying to cover up my brokenness and fill a void that I could never control. I could not control that, when I was 6 my parents got divorced, my mom moved across the country, and a new mother was introduced to me.
